Julie se chargeant de la mise en voix. Jai tellement flashé sur ce titre que j'ai commencé à bosser sur une adaptation française, non encore finalisée. Mais elle finira par paraître.

Dans la liste de titre dans laquelle m'a proposé de piocher Sandrine, évidemment Michel Berger s'est imposé. Si les influences de Sucrepop sont essentiellement anglo-saxonnes, Michel Berger avec peut être Laurent Voulzy, est la clef de voûte de mon univers francophone. voici donc un hommage à celui sans qui ma musique ne serait probablement pas, et merci à Sandrine de m'avoir donné l'occasion de m'attaquer à ce monument.

Sauf erreur, c'est la première fois que j'enregistre un titre dont je n'ai pas choisi la musique. Pour Sandrine, une première. Elle qui a l'habitude de faire des voix "parlées", avait envie de s'essayer à la chanson. C'est sur notre Eddy Mitchell national que c'est posé son choix. J'ai mis un peu de temps à trouver ce que j'allais en faire, et puis finalement, les images cinématographique du texte de Mr Claude Moine, la musique à la radio, les flics, la cigarette, bref une iconographie qui m'évoquait plus un rasta à la Jamaïque qu'un ricain m'ont entraîné sur la pente reggae. Ainsi est né Sur la route de Kingston. Voilà, nous nous sommes bien amusés à la faire, j'espère que vous prendrez autant de plaisir à l 'écouter .
